Pandemic resiliency and flexibility assessment of dormitory buildings in the post-Covid-19 era

The Covid-19 pandemic affected the education system, causing distance learning in most parts of world. Thanks to rapid vaccination, face-to-face instruction started again, university students returned colleges, and dormitories were again used. To respond changing living conditions ensure a healthy indoor environment, strategies for pandemic-resistant flexible design have been discussed, which is focus this article. achieve goal, state Turkey, their current condition, functional/ technical solutions studied detail using four-stage methodology developed with study, adaptation potential new designs post-pandemic world was discussed. research results showed that case dormitory unlikely adapt terms resilience, flexibility, Turkey Guidelines has be applicable evaluation similar buildings.
